Depositing into an Aegis Vault

This guide will walk you through the process of depositing assets into an existing Aegis vault, such as the CELO-USDC vault on the Celo network.
Visit the Aegis App: Open the Aegis application in your browser.
Select the Network: Ensure you are on the correct blockchain network (e.g., Celo).
Click "Connect Wallet":
Use the wallet address holding your CELO or USDC tokens.
Ensure your wallet has sufficient funds to cover gas fees.
Navigate to the Explore section.
Use the search bar or sorting options (e.g., by TVL) to find your desired vault. For this example, choose the CELO-USDC Vault.
Click on the vault to view its details.
Familiarize yourself with the following metrics:
Total Value Locked (TVL): Total assets currently in the vault.
Strategy: Description of how the vault operates.
Target Token Levels: Visualize current and target balances for tokens.
Enter Deposit Amount:
Choose the token (e.g., CELO or USDC).
Use the slider or manually enter the amount you wish to deposit.
Ensure you have enough balance in your wallet for the deposit and associated gas fees.
Approve Tokens:
If this is your first deposit, you may need to approve the token for use in the smart contract.
Confirm Deposit:
Review the transaction details.
Click "Confirm" in your wallet to finalize the deposit.
After the deposit is completed, your position will be updated in the vault dashboard.
Check metrics such as:
Your position in the vault (amount of CELO/USDC deposited).
Accumulated earnings from trading fees.
